Celebrating environmental responsibility, core value of our project, we aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving nature.

Using the tree as our symbol, we strive to convey our commitment to this cause. Since the very beginning, we plant a tree each product sold, because every small but positive action can make an effective difference for a better future.

We contributed to the Usambara Biodiversity Conservation Project in Tanzania, aimed at biodiversity preservation, environmental education and conservation, and poverty alleviation through agroforestry.

Forests sustain life on our planet, they are home to 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity and between 200 and 350 million people live in or adjacent to wooded areas. Their lives depend on these intricate ecosystems.

Planting trees and reforestation can be really helpful, not just for climate change but for example also to mitigate flooding and erosion. It creates jobs, supports local communities and protects ecosystem diversity. There are a lot of benefits. We are conscious that to avoid catastrophic environmental changes we have work a lot, but we also like to think that every small positive step can make a difference.

Planting trees won't be THE solution, but it is important especially when it is done consciously and regeneratively with the surrounding ecosystems in mind. THEMOIRè considers the impact of its products, makes donations to forest conservation efforts and advocate for management practices that focus on human well-being and promote the value communities and people.

In our own small way we want to bring a solution to the problem of deforestation planting one tree for each bag sold. THEMOIRè wants to take care of the planet as it takes care of us, and it is our concern to do it consciously.
