MATERIALS

We create our products using as many environmentally responsible & recyclable materials as possible. We use bio-based fabrics made from apple waste, cactus fiber and recycled plastic bottles.

RE-FUR

This fabric is made with Sorona, a material produced from the processing of corn seeds mixed with polyester fibers, resulting in a furry texture for the fabric that permits to the final product to have the look of fur.

PALMA FABRIC

This fabric is developed using pruning residues from the Alicante palm tree, employing advanced adhesive technology to create a 100% palm coating preventing incineration of waste, and reducing over 1.5 million kilos of CO2 emissions—an equivalent of 520 kg of CO2 per tonne of palm leaves.

WASTEA MATERIAL

Wastea emerges as a novel choice to traditional leather, repurposing tea waste that would otherwise be disposed of in landfills or burned. This material is made using pomace tea wastes that are collected and recycled, then processed to be converted into a cruelty- free, vegan fabric.

PINEAPPLE MATERIAL

After pineapple harvest, the suitable plant leaves which are left behind are collected in bundles and the long fibers are extracted. The fibers are washed then dried naturally by the sun. Then this fluff-like pineapple leaf fiber gets mixed with a corn based polylactic acid.

VEGEA FABRIC

This material is made using pomace: the residue of the vinification made up of grape skins and seeds. The name VEGEA comes from the combination of VEG (Vegan) and GEA (Mother Earth). It was chosen to identify next generation of alternative materials to totally oil-based and animal-derived ones.

CORK MATERIAL

Cork is an ecological and renewable material with origins in the western Mediterranean area. Due to the extraction of its cortex, the cork tree absorbs five times more CO2 than other trees. This material is obtained without mistreating or damaging the tree.

RECYCLED NYLON

A large part of the recycled nylon comes from old fishing nets and pre-used garments, a great solution to divert garbage from the planet and the oceans. It can also be recycled again.
