YANNIS FRAGOS

Influenced by the main "canvas" of the Greek culture, the marble, Yannis Fragos interpreted the theme in his own surroundings. His passion for the stone origins from Greece art tradition, from the charm of marble so hard, but capable of changing many shapes and adapting to different interpretations. Yannis Fragos' goal was to integrate the object into a contrasting environment: the stone and the marble contrast with the soft look of the bag, but still blend harmoniously, creating a variety of textures and light reflections. It is a space where the earth itself and our space offer a natural resource that despite its rigidity, can be carved and take an organic or even fluid form. This shows that even the things that seem more difficult in the natural world always find ways to improve and we need to learn from that.
