Mimesis is all around us in the natural world. Blending, the way the color or shape of an animal or plant appears to mix with its natural environment to prevent it from being seen and recognized. Then, the mimesis between man and nature: an illusion, the dream of the blending between living beings and the planet.

Adaptation to nature is a significant element in the creativity process, a key lesson from nature has been that we don’t rule: nature rules, not us.

The collection was born from the intersection between nature and innovative, bio-based materials which recall the importance of the right balance so that men can go unnoticed and leave no invasive traces of their passage on the planet. A fusion of the organic and the fabricated, the dichotomy of environment and mankind.

It’s time to adapt. Nature and humanity don’t need to be separated. Entwining, we have
learned to recognize our place in nature and we are humbled by it. Experiencing nature is the best way to understand natural systems and the essential relationship with them.
Adapting to the challenges we face now will require us to lean on each other to truly understand what it means to be a community. It will require us to become one together
with our environment again, to let go of our sense of separateness, looking towards new possibilities.
